Course Description

Operating the x-ray equipment is integral to practicing the art and science of Medical Radiological Technology. Technological advances have allowed for the changes in the imaging process with various imaging receptors. This online course will provide you with a review of x-ray producing equipment, image receptors, the process of image acquisition and the principals of controlling scattered radiation. This course is for those who reentering the clinical environment. The skills obtained in this course will allow you to describe the scientific process behind producing images.
