Course Description

Apply the skills you gain in this course to support eye health by completing an ophthalmic patient history, recognize and describe anatomical and physiological aspects of the eye, ocular pathologies, systemic eye diseases, and the effects of medication on the eye. Candidate must be a licensed optician or graduate of an Opticianry program.

Recommendations

Students are required to have laptop computers, microphone, and cameras for this program. Newer devices are recommended. Google Chromebooks and Android tablets are strongly discouraged as they do not fully support the applications used by NAIT. Recommended devices are Windows laptops and Mac Laptops. Smartphones are not acceptable devices.
