Course Description

Operating the x-ray equipment is integral in practicing the science of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology. Technological advances have allowed for the changes in the imaging process with various imaging receptors. This online course will provide you with a review of x-ray producing equipment, image receptors, the process of image acquisition and the principals of controlling scattered radiation. This course is for those who want to increase their knowledge and professional development around scientific processes behind producing images, and are currently working as a technologist.
