Course Description

Advanced ICS, is designed to enable personnel to operate efficiently in the advanced application of the Incident Command System. This course provides training for personnel who are expected to perform in a management capacity in a complex incident environment. ICS-300 is a prerequisite for this course and ICS Canada requires a 6-month period between ICS-300 and ICS-400. If you completed your ICS-300 certification outside of NAIT, please provide a copy of your certificate to continuingeducation@nait.ca. It is recommended that the student will have participated in an actual incident or exercise practicing those skills learned in I-300 prior to participation in the I-400 course.

Prerequisites

Students enrolling in this course must have a passing grade for CDEM 120 ICS I-300.  If you completed this certification outside of NAIT, please upload a copy of your certification through your Continuing Education Student Portal.
