Course Description

This Fire Safety course identifies legislation and organizations responsible for providing direction on fire plan development and implementation. The course offers a comprehensive coverage of fire chemistry and behaviour combined with an introduction to facility fire hazard assessments and the design and evaluation of a safe and effective fire prevention program. This course is intended to enhance your connection between theory and industry practice. Upon successful completion of the Fire Safety course, you will be able to apply various strategies, techniques, and tools to safeguard people, the environment, the economy, and property through a proactive and diverse fire safety plan. It is recommended that you work in safety and/or have access to the expertise of a safety professional before enrolling in this course.
