Course Description

Microsoft Word is the world’s premier word processing program. Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to create and edit documents using introductory Microsoft Word tools. As a graduate of this course you will be able to describe word processing terms and concepts fundamental to creating MS Word documents. You will also be able to efficiently navigate MS Word using mouse and keyboard, create, set up, and edit a variety of standard documents, format characters and paragraphs, and use the spelling and grammar checkers in the editor. At the end of the course you will be able to find and replace text, adjust margins, add headers and footers, and apply page numbering. Prior to enrolling in this course, it is recommended that you complete CCTO101, Windows Desktop Operating System or have equivalent practical experience, as well as keyboarding skills. Upon successful completion of this course, you will earn a NAIT Micro-credential and receive a Digital Badge you can share on social media and with your network.
