Course Description

Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is the programming language used with Excel and all other Microsoft Office programs. Graduates of this course will be able to perform basic programming using Excel VBA. With the skills and knowledge gained in this course, you will be able to explain the use of the Excel interface to create modules, subroutines, and custom functions. You will be able to determine when to use the macro recorder or the VBA Editor to create and modify macros to automate routine tasks. You will also be able to work with various control structures and identify variables, arrays, and error handling. You do not need any previous programming background to take this course, although prior to enrolling in this course completion of CCTO340 Microsoft Excel Level III is recommended.
