CCTO 140 - Microsoft Excel Level I

Course Description

Excel in the world of office technology and spreadsheet software, and become more productive with Microsoft Excel. With the skills you gain in this course, you will be able to apply the tools of this powerful application to enter formulas in cells, build charts, and more. Graduates of this course will be able to describe how spreadsheets are used as business planning tools, and to use helpful shortcuts and tips to speed up your productivity. You will also be able to customize the quick access toolbar, produce and format your own spreadsheets, and use formulas and functions.

It is recommended that you complete CCTO101 Windows Desktop Operating System or have practical experience with Excel before enrolling. Upon successful completion of this course, you will earn a NAIT Micro-credential and receive a Digital Badge you can share on social media and with your network.

To be eligible to take the next Excel course, Excel Level 2, students must either:

1. Take and pass Excel Level 1 CCTO140

2. Earn 80% or higher on the Excel Level 1 Challenge Exam CCTO141
