Course Description

Sage 50 Accounting is a popular and powerful accounting software that fulfills the bookkeeping needs of small to medium-sized businesses. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to use advanced functions of Sage 50 for your accounting and bookkeeping needs. This hands-on course will introduce you to several advanced functions of Sage 50 Accounting. As a graduate of this course, you will be able to describe security and budgets, and use projects for sales, purchases, and payroll. You will also be able to describe inventory for small manufacturing and use bill of materials and item assembly. Apply advanced payroll features such as remittances, benefits, and vacation pay. You will be able to create Records of Employment, T4s, and T4 Summaries. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to determine time and billing, implement foreign currency, identify and manage bad debts, describe GST/HST remittances, and design customized forms and journals. Prior to enrolling in this course, it is recommended that you complete CCTO222 Sage 50 Accounting Level 2 or have equivalent knowledge.
