Course Description

The Feature Manipulation Engine (FME) is an application that eliminates any traditional programming. Instead, FME provides a graphical approach to data translation and manipulation. It permits you to translate from almost any spatial format to any other spatial format without ever needing to write a single line of traditional computer code. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to implement FME best practices and use the software’s most popular tools. Graduates of this course will be able to translate real-world scenarios of data from one format to another, manipulate and change values, and demonstrate the steps to solve these scenarios. You will be able to load data, re-write to other formats, and manipulate spatial and non-spatial data without any of the bothersome programming that’s usually required. FME software is used by new and advanced users alike.
