TRDE 100 - Accelerated Trades Entry Assessment

Course Description

This assessment is the first step in the Accelerated Trades Entry (ATE) program. The ATE program is open to non-Citizens who meet the entry requirements and who are interested in pursuing careers in the trades. The assessment is three hours in duration and includes three components: Part A - Reading Comprehension, Part B - Math and Part C - Applied Math. You will have one attempt at completing each part of the assessment. Your performance on this assessment will not impact your qualification to pursue further training in the ATE program. Performance on this assessment is intended to determine the next step in your pathway within the ATE program, and identify what training will support your transition into an apprenticeship most effectively. Based on the results of your assessment, you will be contacted about the next steps required for the Accelerated Trades Entry program. The assessment will need to be completed on or before the class end date.
