Construction Estimating & Administrative Controls

The Construction Estimating and Administrative Controls (CEAC) certificate is a rebuild of the Construction Technology certificate, which has a long history of providing professional development and re-training for the Alberta construction industry. To update this certificate, we engaged industry partners, associations and subject-matter experts to develop courses that focus on the needs of industry today and into the future.

CEAC offers 2 industry-specific certificate options, each focused on providing a solid understanding of the fundamentals of construction, including estimating, project management and administrative control functions.

These courses are useful for all levels of construction employees, from entry level workers to junior and intermediate project management supervisors. This certificate will be of particular interest to project managers, superintendents, estimators and owners of construction companies.

Certification

Students must successfully complete all required courses within the certificate of their choice to be eligible for a Certificate of Achievement. Students must apply for the certificate by completing a Request for Certification form (pdf) and returning the completed form to continuingeducation@nait.ca.
