Did you know that Alberta is Canada’s leading honey producing province, producing about 40 million pounds of honey annually? Beekeeping is big business commercially and beekeepers in urban areas are becoming involved in keeping bees for pollination and honey.

ABC Bees of Calgary has partnered with NAIT to instruct their Level 1 Beekeeping Certificate and Apiary Technician Preparation courses. These courses will interest people who want to start raising bees domestically or work in the Apiary field. Whether you are already maintaining hives and have questions about hive health, just getting started with beekeeping, or you are interested in working in the field, NAIT and ABC Bees have you covered.
