Increase your productivity, stay competitive, and save money by exploring Lean Six Sigma, an operating strategy that seeks to maximize performance and decrease defects by creating value in the eyes of the end user. Set your sights not on a single department, area, or process but on the optimization of an entire system.

Discover Lean Six Sigma's best processes and practices. Identify problems, optimize resources, and create the best results in the fastest manner and at the lowest cost to satisfy your client. Convert bottlenecks to statistical problems, find statistical solutions, and convert them into practical strategies.

With the knowledge gained in this program, you will have a practical understanding of the Six Sigma approach within a project management context.

Note: students who are intending to complete the old certificate (LSSP101-106) can send an email to continuingeducation@nait.ca.

The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt program provides professionals with a strong foundation in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, focusing on reducing defects, eliminating waste, and improving process efficiency. Through an intensive 70-hour, face-to-face training experience, participants learn to apply the DMAIC methodology, analyze processes, collect and interpret data, develop statistical hypotheses, and use essential tools to drive measurable improvements. When properly applied to well-selected projects, these methods can significantly enhance the organization's productivity and customer satisfaction.

The course trains participants to execute improvement projects, collaborate with process owners to sustain gains, and apply problem-solving and quantifiable tools to real business challenges. Each participant is required to have their own current version of Minitab Statistical software.
