Course Description

Delve into the regulatory standards industry must meet when reclaiming forest land. Oil and gas facilities, landings, roads, decommissioned wellsites, temporary workspaces, and exploration wells can all be sites for the reclamation of forest land. Explain vegetation, soil, and landscape factors, and how they present on newly disturbed and reclaimed sites. Identify what to look for when monitoring disturbances. With the skills gained in this course, you will be able to determine where standards have not been met and identify actions required to protect the land.
