Course Description

Getting a handle on how much to produce is a big challenge for an operations manager. Production planning is important to companies to ensure the effective utilization of the resources needed to provide a service or sell goods. Determine the production capacity requirements and the break-even point for production. Allocate materials and employees for operational activities. You will create an aggregated operations plan, a master production schedule, and a materials requirements plan. With the skills gained in this course, you will be able to prepare a Production Plan. Online delivery of this course includes scheduled meeting times online using MS Teams. An intermediate level of Excel skills will be required for this program.
