Course Description

This intensive 5-course stream is intended for those who wish to become educated in business bookkeeping. A bookkeeper is responsible for the financial transactions that occur daily in a business, including: verification of Source Documents; billings to/payments from customers; invoices from/payments to suppliers; processing employees’ payroll; Remittances to governing bodies; Account Reconciliations; generating financial reports; and other tasks involved in running a company. An Applied Bookkeeping Certificate will be awarded upon completion of CCTO814 which includes the following 5 courses: CCTO100 Bookkeeping Level I CCTO200 Bookkeeping Level II CCTO301 Bookkeeping Intermediate CCTO302 Bookkeeping Advanced CCTO140 Microsoft Excel Level I Recommended: CCTO101 Windows Desktop Operating System, equivalent courses, or practical experience. This certificate is a total of 70 hours.
