Course Description

Regardless of the quality of your digital camera, knowing how to use the features and accessories can improve your photos. Upon successful completion of this introductory course, you will be able to describe the concepts of exposure, composition, design, and camera usage. You will also be able to describe camera lenses from primes to zooms and include specialty lenses used by professional photographers. As a graduate of this course you will be able to demonstrate how to use light to capture powerful images. You will also be able to describe common photographic accessories and gear including mono pods, tripods, speed lights, reflectors, grey cards, color checkers, light meters, reflectors, diffusers, gobos, and loops. It is recommended you have a camera that allows you to swap lenses to get the most out of this course.
