People with disabilities are often excluded from equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) efforts, limiting accessibility and workplace inclusion. This course examines the history of disability discourse, the impact of ableism, and the distinction between visible and invisible disabilities. Participants will explore inclusive language, review relevant human rights legislation, and identify strategies for creating accessible workplaces.With the skills gained in this course, you will be able to recognize the impact of ableism and implement inclusive workplace practices to support employees with disabilities.
