Course Description

Discover strategies that foster creative thinking and explore how leadership can create a culture of innovation. With the skills in this course, you will be able to implement a culture of creative thinking and problem solving in the workplace. Understanding how to think more creatively and instill a culture of innovation within the organization are key skills for leaders. In addition, leaders must be able to develop effective and innovative approaches to solving problems and implementing solutions strategically to ensure the organization's continued success. Finally, effective leaders must demonstrate an understanding of various strategies and approaches to thinking creatively and promoting creative thinking among the people they lead. This module will provide you with greater understanding, practice, and skills for thinking strategically and new perspectives regarding looking for innovative ways to change the status quo and improve their organization. This session will include relevant theories combined with individual reflection, group exercises, discussions, a final assignment, and practical exercises to reinforce newly acquired skills and knowledge. You will be able to develop the organizational capacity for creative thinking and problem-solving to meet the challenges of a dynamic marketplace. You will also be able to describe tips and tools such as the S.M.A.R.T. planning method to aid the implementation of innovation and strategic planning.
